Athletics

Prairie Sky offers all seven sports allowed through the CMLSAA. These are:

Soccer	Sept.  - Nov
Cross-Country	Sept. - Oct.
Basketball	Sept. - Nov.
Wrestling	Nov. - Feb.
Volleyball	Jan. - March
Badminton	April - May
Track and Field	April - May

 

Any student in Grades 6-9 can participate in sports. All sports have tryouts with the exception of cross-country and wrestling, which require consistent commitment to practices and meets. 

All sports have an athletic fee which varies based on costs for each sport (i.e.: referees, venue, rentals, etc.). Some sports will also have a uniform deposit for use of the jersey and/or shorts for the season. The deposit is refunded when the uniform is returned.
