The CBE is celebrating a significant achievement in sustainable school design with Prairie Sky School earning LEED Gold Certification from the Canada Green Building Council. This recognition highlights CBE’s commitment to creating energy-efficient, environmentally friendly learning spaces that support student well-being.

Prairie Sky School integrates natural lighting and sustainable materials to promote a healthier, more productive learning environment. The eco-conscious design prioritizes energy efficiency and water conservation, reflecting CBE’s dedication to green building principles.

Prairie Sky’s certification is part of CBE’s broader sustainability efforts, with 46 schools now earning LEED status—22 at silver and 24 at gold.

This month, Prairie Sky School was recognized alongside Bayside School (Silver certification) and North Trail High School (Gold certification) who have also earned top sustainability certifications from the Canada Green Building Council.
